Office Junior Assistant or Office Allrounder

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Office Junior Assistant. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to start their career in an office environment and is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive team.

The position is initially offered on a casual basis, with 10-15 hours per week, and has the potential to increase for the right candidate.


  • Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective and professional communication with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Thrive under pressure and work unsupervised, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be dedicated to their work and take pride in delivering high-quality results, paying attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Solve problems with ease and think quickly on their feet, actively seeking solutions and taking initiative to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Answer incoming calls within a very busy office, directing calls to the appropriate personnel and providing assistance or information as needed.
  • Assist other staff members when required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset to contribute to the overall success of the office.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in using computers, including basic knowledge of software applications and the ability to navigate various programs effectively.
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Experience in using G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.) is preferred but not essential. Willingness to learn and adapt to new software tools is important.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or office role is desirable but not required. We welcome candidates with a passion for learning and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
