What can a website do for your business?
Does your business make money from internet sales? Do you get a steady flow of qualified sales leads to follow up? A properly constructed web site can be a highly affordable and effective 24/7 sale maker that out performs traditional marketing.
My home office is located at: 5 Cowper Street, Wallsend NSW (cnr of Platt & Cowper) if you would like to visit please call on 02 4950 1140 or 0411 056 876 to make an appointment.
Even If you are a complete novice I will take care of all the important details like registering a domain name, setting up email addresses and listing with search engines. If you have questions about how all this website stuff works I will take the time to explain it in simple everyday english in a way that makes business sense. I can provide advice and services to market your business online, design graphics, write content and improve search engine rankings.
I will design a website that works for you as an online sales rep, that is, your website should save you time with enquiries, generate profits that are a multiple of what you invest in your website and give you greater market reach. If you have a website and it isn't satisfying those criteria then let's talk about how we can fix that. The requirements that most businesses have for their site and the reasons they have one are:
- A web site that you or your staff can easily keep current or I will do it for you.
- Providing your clients with tailored information and sales communique.
- Interactive quote forms, product catalogs and knowledge bases.
- Most of all, it means setting up a website that has a positive influence on your sales and clients. In time it will become a vital and integral part of your overall customer relationship management and marketing strategy.
If your website isn't working, for you and you're not sure why you got one in the first place then lets talk.
How will I make sure you get great value for money and a terrific website?
The websites I build often contain a blend of static and dynamic content. Static content is typically found on web pages that don’t have changes to information and layout unless a web designer or editor manually updates the page.
Dynamic pages are more flexible in that a single website framework can be multiplied over any number of database driven page so that their content and appearance adapts to the web browsers interaction such as you would find with an online shopping cart.
I don't usually think of dynamic websites in terms of the number of pages it has like you do with a static site. It's more accurate to think of your website as having sections or functional areas.
A Content Management System (CMS) is typically how a dynamic website is managed. I tend to rely on content management only for selected parts of a website that you will want to update regularly. There's no point in having a wonderful huge CMS that you forget how to use because you only access it once every few months.
A good example of useful CMS is a photo gallery, news column or shopping cart. These are terrific systems for presenting your current events and projects, products or client profiles and they can be so simple to use that even someone with very basic computer skills can pick up on what to do quite quickly.
Ok so you want to get started? If you want new sales enquiries and sales via the internet then let’s work out a time when we can sit down and figure out the details. I will drive to you if you are within 250km of Newcastle or you can meet me at my home office in Wallsend. If you’re not within driving distance of Newcastle we can have a meeting over the phone and email (I’ve setup websites for people interstate quite successfully without face-to-face meetings) and if you’re vision is big enough and the website is going to be of a reasonably large size and you’re prepared to put a deposit down on it then I’ll drive or fly to most places in Australia to meet you and figure out how we can make you more money by marketing your business on the internet. I like the personal touch that sitting down over a beer or coffee provides and I like to find out as much as I can about you and your business before I start so if it’s possible to catch up for a chat then let’s do it.
